This holiday season had been just too much for me. I was *hoping* for a quiet time at home with my family (near and far) but instead, there has been illnesses since Thanksgiving. Always have to expect the unexpected.
Since Thanksgiving I have been working on this cute Afghan for my toddler. It’s bigger than his toddler bed at the moment, but it’s a blanket that he will use when he outgrows his baby bed—if he ever sleeps in it (another story for later).
This blanket has been crocheted using a 8mm hook. I don’t always crochet, but when I do it has to be for a big project. I love knitting the most, but even I have limitations to how long a blanket will take. Unless it’s a baby blanket.
Yarnspirations had a nice sale on this yarn and at the time free shipping. I completely missed the sale on the mystery yarn but I’m on the look out for it. In the meantime, I did end up getting some nice yarn to add to my stash.
For now though, maybe for the rest of the year, I’m good with buying yarn. I have a lot in surplus and now, not that much time to make anything. I hoping that 2020 would be just as exciting as this year (minus the colds).
I have some things I want to tackle next year, and I’m hoping that I will be able to share them with you soon.
In the meantime, keep on crafting!
